2025 in review!
Friends, WHAT A YEAR! It's really been a good one! Thank you to everyone who entrusted me to capture this season in your lives!
Figured I'd just answer a little questionnaire, incase you're curious on what this year looked like for me!
What was your favorite session? that's a tough one!! But a few that stand out are: a family session on the beach, a gorgeous olive grove wedding, at home farm session, and the birth I got to attend this year!
What did you learn this year? That I can still grow, adapt and improve my art.
What did you improve this year? lighting! I feel more confident in less than ideal lighting conditions--that's HUGE for me!
Anything NEW this year? FILM!! I'm so excited about this one! I haven't added it to the session package officially, but I've been playing around with it and it's really helped me engage in being creative on my own time. I LOVE it!
What surprised you the most? how much I love film, haha!
What did you struggle with? editing--the sitting down part is hard for me!
Newest success? I had the best fall season of my life! So many family partook of my mini sessions--I feel so grateful! I shot 31 mini sessions this fall and that's a record for me!
What are you leaving behind in 2025? Thinking "I can't" or that I'm not allowed to change anything since I'm an established photographer of 10+ years.
What are you most excited for going forward? Just excited for a few new opportunities and seeing how I can hone in my skills to an even deeper level.
